Becoming a patient is simple.

Complete the short form on our New Patients page so we can guide you to the best care option for you.

2. Personal Review
Each request is personally reviewed to confirm your needs and ensure we are a perfect fit for your health goals. We will discuss your membership options during this brief onboarding check.

3. Portal & Paperwork
Once everything is confirmed, you’ll receive access to our secure patient portal to complete forms ahead of your visit.

Everything You Need to Know Before Joining

Do you accept insurance, specifically Blue Cross Blue Shield?

Yes! At Hushed and Unheard Medical & Wellness, we bill Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) visits through your insurance per our provider agreement. Please note we are not currently seeing patients enrolled in Medicare.

What is Direct Primary Care (DPC), and how is it different?

Direct Primary Care is a healthcare model that prioritizes the patient-provider relationship. Unlike traditional high-volume clinics, our Asheboro practice focuses on longer appointments and direct communication. Here, you aren’t just a number; we ensure you never feel ‘unheard’ by giving you the time and attention needed to manage your health properly.

Is medical weight management included in the membership?

Yes, we offer metabolic health support and medical weight management. While it can be a standalone service, we provide it as a discounted add-on tier exclusively for our comprehensive Direct Primary Care members. This structure lets you seamlessly pair your everyday family medicine with advanced health tracking.

How much time will I spend with my provider during a visit?

One of the biggest benefits of our practice is the time we dedicate to you. While typical offices may only give you 10 minutes, our visits are designed to be 30 to 60 minutes long. This allows us to listen deeply, answer every question, and develop a comprehensive wellness plan together.
